Hotel Del is one of the most lavish and historical venues in San Diego. You can’t beat the sun, sand, and scenery at this over the top hotel. It was the perfect spot for Andrea and Prakash to have their destination wedding. They had two ceremonies to honor both of their family traditions which made for a long, but fun filled day for all involved.

Andrea looked stunning in her Sari, while Prakash looked like a king in his traditional garments. I overheard one of the guests at the hotel while Prakash was being brought in during the Barat, they were wondering if they could be royalty! They had their Hindu ceremony on the beach in front of the Del. All the traditions during this ceremony are so intricate and have so many deep rooted meanings.

Their Christian ceremony was up on the Vista Walk at the Del which overlooks the ocean. It was during sunset hour and gave the most beautiful cast of light over everyone in attendance. After they said their vows and were pronounced man and wife the whole wedding party headed down to the beach to catch the last of the sunlight as the Del lit up in all its glory at the end of the night.
